Avotus has a long and extensive relationship with both Nortel and Avaya spanning more than 15 years. For Nortel, our relationship originated with our development and testing of the framework for Meridian Administration Tools (MAT), continued with Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM) and Telecom Billing System, MCS5100 and now Telephony Manager TM 4.0.  

Avotus is a member of the Nortel Development Partner Program and the Avaya’s DevConnect program, supporting Nortel's and Avaya enterprise voice and multi-media platforms. The Developer Partner relationship is multi-faceted and involves formal product testing at Nortel and Avaya labs as well and as participation and collaboration on strategic technology and marketing activities.

As a Gold member of the DevConnect program, Avotus is working to acquire certification on the latest plate form. 

As a Developer Partner with Nortel, Avotus achieved a Select Partner status in 2004 as a preferred supplier for enterprise call accounting solutions.  

Avotus is the first and only usage management/call accounting solution provider to be compliance tested on Nortel’s latest platforms including the BCM, Meridian, CS1000 and MCS5100.   Concurrent with the release of Telephony Manager 4.0, Avotus is able to provide all TM solutions and Professional Services including:

» Onsite or remote configuration and training
» TM Rates and Tables
» OTM to TM Software Upgrades
» Customer Support Maintenance
 

Following the acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions (NES) by Avaya, customers may wonder how this will affect their Avotus contracts for TM.

Avaya has ensured customers that the CS1000 running with Succession 6.0 will continue to be supported until 2016. There is also a possibility that new succession releases will be made available in the coming years.

Avotus will continue to support the current TM version and any future version as they become available. 

Customers that choose to migrate away from Nortel’s solutions will be able to depend on Avotus to help them transition onto their new plate form, leveraging Avotus experience and Usage Management solutions to minimise the impact on their business.
